Greetings from the Philippines! Let me introduce myself. I am Tita (Aunt) Yosa to Kristin and Melissa. I am 2nd among the 9 siblings. Mila is the eldest. I am a widow with one daughter- Margie. I am writing to you to express my sincere appreciation to you all for organizing and performing at the Fundraiser for Miracles. As I watched through youtube, I was speechless and emotional. You are all fantastic. Your performance was awesome. You are all truly beautiful persons with beautiful hearts. Your love, concern, support and care for the Romero family, including my sister, Mila, were manifested in your performances. As individuals, you are the grace we received from God. I am sure your parents are all very proud of you. I praise and thank God for you all. Congratulations!

So, the fundraiser left Tita Mila full of energy. She goes about the house as normal, cleaning, cooking, doing word finds, etc. She has regained her appetite and loves the 3 course meal for $12.99 at TGIFriday's where she usually orders the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake for desert. :) Her medicine only makes her sick occassionally and spends her days shopping with my aunties, (Dad's sisters), being visited by friends, or sitting outside in the sun. After 34 hours of travel, my 2 aunts made it here from the Philippines this past Wednesday. I came home to 4 filipino women happily gathered in the kitchen who didn't seem to mind the 90 degree weather we were having as I sat and complained about how I was sweating. Tita Nini and Tita Andrel yahoo chat and skype with their families back home and sit around at the table with Tita Mila reading People. So far they've gone out to eat but hopefully we'll get to show them around more of US :)
I'm already itching to sing again, don't think we'll do the fundraiser a second time, much to a lot of people's requests. I guess some things shouldn't be done twice. Looking forward to reuniting with the RENT cast in 2 weeks to sing at Klondike Kate's! I'll post more info soon!
